About Ocean Futures
Mode of Operation
Ocean Futures has
a regular staff
located at its home in Oslo. In addition, Ocean Futures draws on a
network of affiliated staff from many countries and research disciplines. This
Affiliated
Faculty consists of internationally recognized experts of whom most have
worked for 20 years or more on ocean related issues. The members of the Faculty
are actively engaged in Ocean Futures’ research and project
work.
Ocean Futures has a Board of Directors consisting of persons who have served with distinction in the Norwegian public and private sectors. The Chair of the Board is Professor Willy Østreng and the Director is Jan Magne Markussen.
